Our Inspiration

Every project is different, every client comes with their own unique style and tastes. So how do we cater to each project and still stay consistent in providing beautiful spaces that last? That is where inspiration comes in! We asked our Senior Designer Quianna Blanc what inspires their designs and they had a lot to say.

Nature

One of their biggest inspirations is nature. The different colors, shapes, textures, and elements that naturally work together in the wild inspire similar themes in their designs. Nature is the greatest source of inspiration because not only is it the most authentic, but it is everywhere and forever changing as the seasons change. Another aspect of nature is sustainability and allowing their designs to not only be inspired by the earth but also with the planet in mind.

Curation and Travel

As a maximalist, Quianna loves to personally display a lot of things they’ve collected throughout their travels and life experiences turning the space into a museum of life. Keeping visual interest everywhere you look so there is always something to interest the eye. This love for display also translates into their designs by adding the client’s personality to each space they design.

Trends

Yes, trends! But not in the way you think. Instead of following trends Quianna prefers to steer away from most trends to avoid creating a “cookie cutter” look. Instead of looking to trends for what to do, we look at it as a way to see what NOT to do. This helps them keep their designs unique and personal- curating a space for a client that they won’t find anywhere else.

Our Clients

Our first and biggest inspiration comes from our clients themselves. Each project begins with us collecting data on their likes, dislikes, wants, needs, and even their lifestyle. This helps us find ways to create a space that falls into the client’s specific aesthetic. As our Principal Designer, Mia Whitaker says, some people look for designers based on the designer’s aesthetic, we want our clients’ designs to represent them.
